Drawing Cartoon Character Pigs in Easy Steps Tutorial

Step 1

First lightly sketch a circle with a line going down the center.

Step 2

Now draw the pig’s snout (looks like a slightly boxier letter ‘c’) and the ear (a slightly rounded, side-ways letter ‘v’).

Step 3

Now draw the cheek (a letter ‘c’)…and an upside down letter ‘u’ above it for the pig’s eye. Also draw the bottom lip (2 letter ‘u’ shapes)…and the bottom part of the pig’s ear.

Step 4

Draw an upside down letter ‘u’ for the nostril…a sideways letter ‘u’ at the right side of the mouth….and a backwards letter ‘c’ inside the eye…with a letter ‘v’ in there too for the highlight. Also draw the eyebrow (an upside down letter ‘u’).

Step 5

Now finish up the cartoon / comic pig character with some finishing details, such as darkening the outlines, filling in the nostril, eye and mouth…and other details that you might want to add as well. You might want to color him with paint, crayons, colored pencils, pastels, or watercolors. Have fun.
